The flavour is rich, enveloping and long lingering with a long and balsamic finish. This elegant blend of Merlot and Sangiovese is perfect for long ageing in the bottle.
Bright ruby red colour. On the nose notes of blackberries, leather, cherries and red currant with a touch of liquorice, graphite and tobacco. Sweet and persistent tannins.
To the palate, the wine is genuine and structured. The tannins are present but elegant and not aggressive, providing a broad and dense frame to the wine. The wine is pleasant with a sustained finish dominated by a wonderful crispness
On the palate we find beautiful aromas on the fruit with perfectly balanced tannins. Magari is an Italian red wine which is appreciated relatively young but can nevertheless be forgotten, for a few seasons.
This is a full and complete wine with nice roundness and bright freshness on the close. It is the most immediate and food friendly of these offerings from Ca'Marcanda.
