On tasting, it offers up a deep and smooth substance, notes of candied black fruit, sweet spices, truffle and mint, and demonstrates great aging potential.

With a beautiful intense carmine-red colour, this 2015 Beaucastel has a lively attack and very quickly reveals aromas of beautiful red fruit. The finish has delicate notes of liquorice with powerful but not aggressive tannins
The aromatic framework besides the typical notes of rose is completed by of sage, mint, thyme, camomile constant over the years: a real trademark for this soil. In the mouth it is velvety ample and fi lls up with sweet and lasting tannins.
Particularly full-bodied, powerful and complex on the palate, it shows beautiful minerality and evolves into a luxuriant roundness with magnificent aromas of mango, apricot and beeswax. It has a very long finish with delicate bitterness.
